In past years, Baltimore hosted a renowned Billie Holiday Vocal Competition. While it was not one of our creations, BJA missed it so much we just had to bring it back. Join Clarence Ward, III and his Session band (house band at The Session, Baltimore’s most storied weekly jam session) to back some of the area’s finest singers performing songs written or recorded by Baltimore’s hometown heroine Billie Holiday. Cash prizes will be awarded, and audience response is part of the criteria, so come prepared to make some noise!
